The Gateway to Galloway Visitor Centre and Community Hub opened on 2nd July 2021.

The centre is a place for tourists to come for information on what's going on in and around Stranraer, places to visit, stay, eat and drink. With a wide variety of local art and crafts for sale.

The centre also acts as a community hub, offering exhibition space for community groups and artists based in Stranraer, with access to free WIFI.
